Simple techniques to build your online audience if you are a new writer

Six Easy Steps to Grow Your Online Audience

Hi Everyone,

We have lived through another week.

What did you learn?

What is your hobby?

Are you building anything online?

I am in the initial phase of my writing journey. And like all new writers I am in the quest to build my online audience.

I am reading the content of all the established writers to understand how to write engaging content and how to build an online audience.

From all the contents, I have gathered a few writing tips that may help in the writing journey.

  1. Start writing on topics that you know well. For example, you may know a few simple lifestyle tips for healthy and happy living. Write articles on your experience and how it helped you. It may help others.
  2. Engage with like-minded audiences in different social media groups. I have single-digit followers on Twitter and threads. But a trick that I have learned to engage is to reply to comments on others' accounts. This way, people will know you.
  3. Build a small community in social channels like Discord, Facebook, and Slack. Whatever you are doing, you cannot do it alone. If you pair up with like-minded people, the journey becomes easy.
  4. Ask your audiences(even if you have 1 audience) what type of content they want from you. (I am going to implement this by asking this question at the end of this newsletter!).
  5. Give away free products as much as you can. Do not charge money right at the beginning of your side hustle journey. First, give value all free of cost.
  6. Once you have a lot of audience(number is defined by you), then you may charge a small money and then scale it.

The overall idea is to first build a connection with your audience and then make it transactional.

Okay, so that's it about knowledge gaining.

What is life without a pinch of magic?

Below are a few quotes from a fairytale that keeps me going through mundane tasks and believe in magic.

I hope that helps you

A few seconds in magic!

“With a smile and a song, life is just like a bright sunny day. Your cares fade away.” – Snow White
"My heart has wings and I can fly. I'll touch every star in the sky. So this is the miracle I've been dreaming of", Cinderella
"Remember, you're the one who can fill the world with sunshine", Snow White

Add magic to everything you do and everything you think.

Before ending this newsletter, I would request you to reply to me with a Hi and let me know what content would you want me to write that helps you in any way.

Since I am learning, I am sharing with you whatever I am learning so that it might help you.

See you next week!
